The Penguin r/c PSPD iFlag Pro Display is designed to work best with the Penguin r/c iFlag Extension available from us. The iFlag software provides the most flexibility and features for iRacing Race Control that you can currently use.
That being said there are some who will wish to use this display with SimHub which will give you compatibility of some features that are not currently availible through the iFag Software.
SimHub Setup:
There are no special processes that need to be done in order to get the ProDisplay to work with SimHub. Plug it in, Open SimHub, and the display will be found and configured to be a basic flagging device with 6 flags, Spotter, and Gear indication. You may customise this further from within SimHub.
For race control purposes we do reccomend using iFlag over SimHub when using iRacing as SimHub does not offer full flagging support for iRacing. That being said you can use multiple ProDisplays at the same time with both programs running their set displays. In order to do this effectively you will need to Exclude Scanning of the port for the device you wish to use with the opposite program. If this is not done the ProDisplay will connect to whichever program claims it first.
The use of SimHub will allow flagging use in many other programs other than iRacing which iFlag currently is not set-up to do properly.
