(*) Standard ethernet cables can be used product has been tested to have a clean signal with up to 100 foot cables, however, this is not guaranteed in practice and it is suggested that cables to devices be as short as possible and no longer than 10 feet. To help aleviate EMI issues along longer cables CAT7 cables are recommended.
