Setup and Configuration:

Connection:
Connect the PSUSB_32xia's micro USB port and to your computer or hub. Windows should automatically setup the device for use.

Setting up for custom inputs (Buttons, Encoders or Funky Use):
The PSUSB_32xi comes set up initially for all inputs to be used in button mode with Extended Mode enabled (but not active). In order to use the PSUSB_32xia with other style input devices the Penguin r/c iFlag software will be needed to set the device used on each input. The software will limit the type of device that can be placed in each input location and automatically set-up matching pairs and sets for encoders and Funky options. You can have up to 16 encoders or 4 Funky's + 4 buttons. Each button style input can be setup to be in extended and/or latching modes. button style inputs are anything other than Encoders which can only be setup as extended.

Setting up for analog inputs (Buttons, Encoders or Funky Use):
The PSUSB_32xia comes set up initially for all analog inputs to be active, full range, and on channels x, y, slider1 and slider2. Within iFlag you can fully adjust the way the Analog channels function from the channel (x, y, z, Rx, Ry, Rz, Slider1, or Slider2), linking, calibration, dead zone implementation, range limit, inversion, and output enabling. All four channels are 16bit interpolated and will output 16bit to windows. Linking channels allows you to use multiple inputs to have specialized functions such as a fully adjustable Dual clutch system with only output on the primary clutch channel.

Setting up the PSUSB_32xia Extended Mode function:
The PSUSB_32xia can also be set-up in extended mode via the iFlag software. In this mode all inputs will double functionality via the press of a single button. This button may be set-up to be momentary where the doubling will only occur while the button is pressed or latching which will allow the devices to hold their secondary functionality until the "shift" button is pressed again. You cannot apply "shift" functionality to an encoder input and the system will disable extended mode if it detects this error.
