PSES Emergency Switch

PSES Overview

The PSES Emergency Switch was origianlly designed primarily for use with the VRS DFP20 Direct Drive wheel. The switch includes an Emergency Safety Switch along with a power switch to allow for remote activation of the base main power from the PSES. 

The design of the PSES  Emergency switch is semi-universal, meaning that it can be used with other Direct Drive bases besides the VRS units it was designed for depending upon how these bases implement their estop and if we have been able to test or develop and optional cable for use. In cases where the ability to use the PSES, an optional cable for that unit is available.

The design of the the PSES is easily mounted using M5x10 screws with the integrated attachment points on the back of the unit. The dimentions of the PSES were chosen to complement use with 80/20 rigs and the optional mounting plate PSSM allows the switch to be mounted flush next to 40mm section, the PSFM allows for front mounting.
